Over the years, I’ve had numerous conversations with small business owners seeking help to re-do their websites or improve their online sales performance. Often I learned these business owners felt “ripped off” by agencies who charged them a lot of money for a website facelift or rebuild but didn’t improve the bottom line. These small business owners turned to me because for the past 20 years, I’ve been working for large corporations and startups building and running ecommerce departments, digital marketing teams, and turning around underperforming digital businesses.
In 2019, I decided to create a team to do for small businesses what I’ve done for those large corporations. So I assembled top talent who have previously worked on my corporate teams. We took the name Powerpack because we see ourselves as the external battery that charges your business.
I’ve found that small businesses can’t hire the resources necessary to do digital marketing and commerce well because each element is a specific expertise (e.g. strategy, content, design, development, brand, social management, digital marketing/media spend, reporting/analytics).
